All you can fit in a bag Saturday - The Grab Thrift Store

Time to update the kids waredrobe? This Saturday, and every 4th Saturday,everything you can fit in a grocery sized plastic bag for $2.00. Yes, that is right, only $2.00. Here are some of our newest additions in the kids clothes catagory. In Pleasant Hill Community Church's Constitution and Bylaws, adopted December 2017, activities are organized into five Core Ministries. Each is led by a Core Minister or Co-Core Ministers, and each Core Ministry may include Program Areas, with Coordinators, and Action Teams. This Council is Elected by the Congregation. Shopping at thrift store makes sense when loosing weight

So your 2022 resolution was to loose some weight.....and you are doing it. Did you know that on average it only takes loosing 10 to 15 pounds to lose 1 dress or pants size. Trying to firgure out of to keep up your style while not breaking the bank? The answer is Thirft Stores, and The Grab in Pleasant hill has one of the largest selection of clothes. Thrift stores are a great source of gently-used clothes that you can enjoy temporarily or even long-term. Gina, one of the case managers at the Bariatric Center of KC, recommends shopping at thrift stores because an item might fit one day, and might be much too big the next. So, you’re only out a few dollars as opposed to what you would spend on a brand new item of clothing. Thrift stores carry everything from dresses to work out clothes, so there’s a good chance you’ll find an outfit for a date night, a day in the garden, and one for work too. Pleasant Hill Community Church November 2022 Mission Trip Planned - Learn More on January 25

Who is Interested in a November 2022 Work Camp/ Adult Mission Trip? Pleasant Hill Community Church, UCC is holding an information session (please wear your mask) on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Church's Boyce Hall. All are welcome to learn more about Back Bay Mission and it's outstanding mission trip programs and accomodations. Some of the mission opportunities include helpping with the client choice food bank, serve meals at a community kitchen, rehabilitation of Biloxi area housing and offer day services to the unsheltered. The cost is $250 per person. The trip can be postponed or cancelled at any time. All will need to attend a series of educational programs, held and sponsored by Pleasant Hill Community Church, prior to the trip. How You'll Serve During your time on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, you’ll have the opportunity to serve in three of the Mission’s ministries: housing rehabilitation, the food pantry, and the Micah Day Center
